Job Description

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the RC1 through RC3 integration product roadmap, aligning with business priorities and technical feasibility

  • Translate business and partner needs into detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria

  • Act as the point of contact for integration efforts with carrier partners, internal stakeholders, and engineering teams

  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with developers, QA, Carrier Relations, and Product leadership

  • Ensure that integrations meet performance, reliability, and accuracy expectations

  • Conduct quality assurance and user acceptance testing, validating technical and business requirements

  • Prioritize and groom the integration product backlog based on impact, risk, and value

  • Analyze product performance post-launch and identify opportunities for improvement

  • Represent the product in Sprint ceremonies, product demos, and planning sessions

  • Stay current on API standards, InsurTech trends, and regulatory constraints related to data exchange

 

Experience and Education

  • 7+ years in software development, systems architecture or product management, with 3+ years focused on API/platform integrations

  • Strong experience owning B2B or third-party integrations, ideally in FinTech, HealthTech, or InsurTech

  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, payload structures (JSON/XML), and integration architecture

  • Proven success managing external partners and cross-functional teams

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence without authority

  • Experience working in Agile environments; SAFe and Agile Product Owner certification is a plus

  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Postman, and analytics tools

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, or related field

  • Stay current on API standards, InsurTech trends, and regulatory constraints related to data exchange


Required Skills and Abilities

  • Typical schedule: 8:30–5:30 M–F, flexibility required around key releases

  • Hours: ~40 per week with potential for extended hours during major launches

  • This role exercises a high degree of independent decision-making

  • No physical demands or travel requirements expected beyond typical office work
