The Strategic Marketing Specialist works out of DuPont’s Experimental Station in Wilmington, DE and is responsible for the day‑to‑day integration, quality, and delivery of marketing execution for Corian® Design in North America.

This position ensures marketing initiatives are coordinated, execution‑ready, and delivered with consistency across Marketing Communications, Digital, Sales, and distributor partners. As a cross‑functional connector, the role helps turn strategy into action — supporting both market strategy development and execution by translating \“where to play / how to win\” decisions into aligned programs and go‑to‑market activity.

This is an opportunity to contribute to a well‑known global brand while gaining exposure across market strategy, segmentation, and activation in a fast‑moving, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Program & Execution Leadership

  • Lead day‑to‑day execution and integration of assigned marketing programs or workstreams in alignment with defined plans, priorities, and target segments.
  • Ensure execution adheres to priorities, milestones, and deliverables established in the annual marketing plan and broader growth strategy.
  • Drive execution discipline, readiness, and follow‑through across assigned initiatives.
  • Support additional priority initiatives under the direction of the Marketing Leader where closer involvement or escalation is required.
  • Coordinate cross‑functionally with Marketing Communications, Digital, Sales, and Channel partners to ensure execution readiness and strategic alignment.

Market Strategy & Growth Support

  • Support market and customer segmentation frameworks, including analysis by segment, application, channel, or end‑use where relevant.
  • Assist with TAM / SAM / SOM and market sizing analyses used to inform prioritization of markets, segments, and growth opportunities.
  • Partner with Marketing Leadership to support \“where to play / how to win\” discussions by providing market inputs, analytical support, and execution feasibility perspectives.
  • Help translate strategic decisions into clear program briefs, positioning inputs, and activation priorities.

Execution Integration & Quality Oversight

  • Provide routine integration and quality oversight of marketing assets, collateral, and messaging as part of program execution.
  • Ensure materials reflect approved positioning, segment priorities, and brand standards prior to activation.
  • Recommend refinements or escalate issues as needed to support execution quality and consistency.
  • Approve select deliverables within defined guardrails as experience and trust are established.

Distributor Marketing

  • Own the monthly Distributor Joint Marketing Meeting (DJMM).
  • Develop agendas, integrate content, and ensure meetings align to priority segments, strategic initiatives, and execution milestones.
  • Coordinate preparation of materials and inputs in advance of meetings.
  • Track actions and follow‑ups to ensure continuity and execution across cycles.

Market Research & Insight Support

  • Support market research initiatives focused on market sizing, customer needs, and opportunity assessment, including coordination, analysis, and synthesis.
  • Assist in translating insights into practical inputs for segment strategies, campaigns, enablement tools, and program refinement.
  • Prepare summaries and materials that support Marketing Leader decision‑making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–5+ years of experience in marketing, strategy support, consulting, or a related analytical or execution‑focused role.
  • Strong interest in market strategy, segmentation, and growth planning, with a desire to build experience translating strategy into execution.
  • Demonstrated analytical curiosity and comfort working with data, frameworks, or models to support marketing and commercial decisions.
  • Ability to work cross‑functionally, manage multiple workstreams, and communicate clearly with both internal and external stakeholders.

This role offers exposure to end‑to‑end marketing, from market strategy and segmentation through activation and execution, within a globally recognized brand
