Your role and responsibilities

Role:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to collect, analyze, and interpret financial data. Each day, you will update budgets and forecasting models and identify trends and problems. You will also showcase your expertise by communicating insights and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and optimize business outcomes.

The work model for the role is: onsite
Responsibilities:
  • Supports the analysis of business performance versus plan and proposes improvement actions.
  • Performs benchmarking of key performance indicators with industry competitors and similar businesses within ABB.
  • Works with management team to understand and analyze drivers of financial performance and identify market trends.
  • Prepares financial modeling for various hypotheses and analyzes impact to the organization.
  • Supports the preparation of financial reporting, business planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the relevant organization.
  • Validates the accuracy of financial data and business information and reports through reconciliation and review of exceptions.
  • Provides information to management by gathering and summarizing data, preparing reports, and making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations.
  • Optimizes their performance to increase productivity by developing automated solutions, eliminating duplications, and coordinating information requirements.
  • Performs controls within their area of responsibility, as designed.
  • Maintains proper audit trail and documentation for future tax/internal/external audits and reviews.

License to Operate / Core Values:

  • Implements and ensures compliance with the ABB code of conduct, global and local standards, tools, policies, and processes in their assigned area.
  • Ensures integrity and compliance with ABB values and ethics in all activities.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) terms, concept application, and importance.

Collaboration / Leadership:

  • Leads their development journey by seeking knowledge and learning opportunities within the team.
  • Manages relationships with stakeholders in their area of responsibility and ensures alignment

Requirements:

  • Accounting degree is mandatory.
  • Minimum 5 years FP&A experience in MNC mandatory.
  • Relevant experience in Robotics Industry or engineering projects is highly preferred.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to influence decision-making.
  • Proactive problem-solver with strong communication skills.
  • Collaborative and passionate about growth and continuous improvement.
  • Extensive knowledge of SAP / Excel / PowerBI / PowerPoint / ThinkCell tools.
  • You are at ease communicating in English.
