About the role

What you will do 

The Medical Education Associate coordinates the planning and execution of educational programs, thirdparty exhibits, sponsorships, and key customer engagements. This role manages endtoend event logistics – including coordinating intake and submission of requests, communicating request status, securing equipment and providing logistical communications and on-site support. This role partners with crossfunctional and third-party stakeholders, ensures all activities meet compliance requirements and documentation standards, and captures customer insights to help continuously improve program delivery and effectiveness. 

  • Support the planning and execution of regional trade shows, congresses, medical education programs, physician trainings, and key customer events.  

  • Coordinate end-to-end event logistics including venue management, , signage, agendas, attendee communications, and branded materials.  

  • Manage exhibit and event operations including booth setup/takedown, vendor coordination, equipment scheduling, product ordering, shipping, inventory management, and material forecasting.  

  • Oversee logistics for demo equipment,  and product delivery, return, and disposal.  

  • Coordinate intake and execution of third-party exhibits, sponsorships, and educational opportunities.  

  • Ensure all events and activities comply with AdvaMed guidelines, healthcare regulations, corporate branding standards, and required documentation processes.  

  • Support lead capture, post-event follow-up, reporting, budget tracking, invoice processing, and continuous improvement initiatives.  

  • Partner cross-functionally with marketing, sales, leadership, vendors, associations and healthcare professionals to support high-quality customer engagements and presentations.  

  • Maintain organized event materials, schedules, and communication plans while providing onsite support during events.  

  • Continuously develop knowledge of orthopedic products, healthcare marketing, and event industry best practices. 

What you need 

Required 

  • Bachelor’s degree 

 

Preferred 

  • MBA 

  • Medical technology and or healthcare industry experience  

  • Basic understanding of event coordination, team-based work experience, excellent attention to details 

  • Strong interpersonal skills including written and oral communication 

  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines 

  • Ability to be persuasive in the absence of organizational authority 

  • Must be able to understand and work within complex interdivisional procedures and policies 

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint) 

  

 

United States of America Pay Ranges:

  • US20: $71,900 - $100,000 USD Annual
