This role is part of Alcon's Sales & Sales Support function, a team that helps provide access to products across all channels in an effort to drive customer satisfaction with eye care professionals to help people see brilliantly.

The Sr. Associate, Commercial Excellence/Sales Effectiveness (Professional Path) is primarily responsible for analyzing and developing business information systems, leading projects, and managing system upgrades. You will be expected to build effective and meaningful relationships with business and technology teams to ensure seamless data integration and reporting. Specifics include:

• Analyze business and technical processes to develop new and modified business information systems, maintaining and establishing operational specifications for systems, considering information flow, configuration setup, volume, ad hoc reporting, analysis, and document format
• Draft and document processes and formal development procedures
• Support, manage, and execute projects related to CRM and other Commercial Excellence systems, including leading, facilitating, and coordinating projects, testing, training, and system upgrades
• Partner with business and technology teams to ascertain system requirements, perform testing, and manage system techniques and controls
• Propose IT solutions to meet business needs and objectives
• Support local Commercial Excellence data integration and reporting needs, partnering with the Automation and Analytics team, ensuring sample accountability and managing data integration tasks
• Represent the business unit to define requirements and business cases for technology developments
• Implement and manage administrative functions supporting salesforce, such as territory alignment and monitoring sales efforts

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain commission plans across all US Surgical Business Units (I.E. Cataract, Vitreoretinal, Refractive) and provide meaningful insights on sales performance to leaders of the business
  • Draft and document processes and formal development procedures
  • Support territory planning and management using various analytics to determine territory viability and earning potential
  • Managing relationships between Sales Operations and Key Stakeholders (Sales Leadership) within the US Surgical organization
  • Implement and manage administrative functions supporting salesforce, such as territory alignment and monitoring sales efforts

What you can bring to Alcon:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs.; Assoc.+6 yrs.; M.S.)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
  • 2 Years of Relevant Experience
