Our Commercial Aircraft Group is seeking a new General Manager, Site Director of Baguio manufacturing operations, who will be responsible for leading the activities of the manufacturing facility in Baguio.

This is an onsite role in Baguio City, Philippines and reports to the GVP & GM, Commercial OE Production.

To be considered for this role, here’s what you’ll typically need to bring with you:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree in Engineering/MBA preferred
• Minimum 15 years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, program management and/or operations
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience, ideally including at least 2-3 years as a 'manager of managers'
• Demonstrated experience managing site-level or departmental budgets preferred
• Experience in lean management and ERP (preferably SAP)
• Strong analytical abilities and ability to coordinate and manage complex operational issues and processes
• Strong knowledge of general business and MRP/ERP systems and processes as well as have demonstrated project management capabilities
• Demonstrated strategic leadership ability with strong communication skills
• Experience leading and sustaining change
• Cross cultural awareness with preference towards candidates who have worked in a different culture than their own.
• Dependability: ready and willing to work extended hours to bridge communication needs between USA, Europe, and the Philippines

As the General Manager, Site Director, you will:

• Develop, recommend and implement overall strategy; plan and direct the ongoing operation of the Baguio manufacturing facility to achieve target financial objectives and support organizational growth within the Moog Culture and Values.
• Independently lead the activities of a low-cost manufacturing facility producing high‑precision control components/assemblies/systems for commercial aerospace and industrial controls.
• Actively advance lean production tactics that:
  • Enable major customers ramp ups and anticipate human resources and capital resources as well as value stream improvements to enable consistent growth with demand pattern
  • Align with Group quality, on‑time customer delivery commitments, and cost‑control strategies.
• Oversee and direct capacity planning; develop forecasts, production goals, financial targets, overall budget and capital spending plans.
• Provide leadership and build relationships to create quality‑minded attitudes and company commitment (people leadership / employee relations).
• Balance long‑term strategic perspective with tactical goal- and plan‑setting that support strategy, profitability, and competitive advantage.
• Oversee Talent Management by holding site leaders accountable to attract, identify, develop, and retain key and critical people resources.
• Maintain and review key governance and compliance practices, take appropriate action by providing adequate governance to the campus in terms of Ethics, EHS, Business Culture.
• Act as accountable manager for regulatory compliance.
