Program Coordinator - Falls Prevention Specialist - Part Time

The Trauma Program at NYP/Weill Cornell has received a federal grant to create an Evidence-Based Falls Prevention Program to help reduce catastrophic falls among older adults. Under the direction of the Injury Prevention Coordinator and the Trauma Program Manager, Program Coordinators will be responsible for enrolling patients in the program, teaching virtual evidence-based falls prevention classes, documenting encounters in the medical record, and submitting participation data to the federal database.
This is a grant-supported position, currently funded for 2 years.
This is a part-time position, working 20 hours per week. Days and Times are flexible, but schedule will be weekdays, not weekend.
Preferred Criteria
Interest and/or experience working with older adults
Spanish bilingual strongly preferred
Technologically proficient
Required Criteria
Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years of equivalent work experience
Excellent writing and communication skills – possess verbal and written skills to convey mission and purpose to internal and external stakeholders
Strong interpersonal skills, highly organized, ability to work with diverse community groups
