HP is seeking a Digital Vendor Management Analyst to support enterprise software and digital vendor governance initiatives. This role is responsible for enabling disciplined vendor engagement, strong financial and operational controls, and effective cross‑functional alignment across sourcing, procurement, finance, architecture, and IT asset management teams.
The successful candidate will bring strong analytical skills, operational rigor, and experience working with complex software vendors in a large enterprise environment.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Support end‑to‑end digital and software vendor management activities, including intake, review, and governance of vendor proposals, renewals, and change requests.
Coordinate and support internal approval forums (e.g., software and architecture governance reviews), ensuring timely submissions, complete documentation, and closure of action items.
Partner with sourcing, procurement, ITAM/SAM, finance, legal, and architecture stakeholders to ensure alignment with enterprise policies and financial controls.
Track vendor submissions, approvals, renewals, and commitments using enterprise workflow and reporting tools (e.g., Smartsheet, ServiceNow, SharePoint).
Support purchase order, invoice, and contract lifecycle execution, including issue identification, follow‑up, and resolution.
Prepare executive‑ready summaries, briefing materials, and decision packages for leadership stakeholders.
Identify and drive process improvement and automation opportunities to improve efficiency, transparency, and scalability in vendor governance operations.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in vendor management, sourcing operations, procurement, finance operations, or IT operations within a large organization.
Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple parallel workstreams in a fast‑paced enterprise environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including interaction with senior stakeholders.
