Position Summary

Knowledge of paramedicine program, which encompasses the post hospital care of patients across the care continuum.  Functions as a liaison between clinicians and enterprise paramedicine staff to promote care in the community space. Accountable to support the development, maintenance, and coordination of programs, policies, education, compliance, and performance improvement related to Post Acute Paramedicine Program. Provide direct patient care as needed.

Required Qualifications:
• Minimum of three years Emergency Medicine or Paramedicine.
• High school education or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) OR Associate’s degree in nursing (ADN) with 25 years of nursing experience required.
•Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, must be from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program required.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Nebraska or current compact state license required.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Managerial or programmatic coordination experience preferred.
• Organize and manage multiple concurrent tasks preferred.
• Strong organizational, analytical and research skills preferred.
• Well-ordered approach to problem solving preferred.
• Ability to anticipate and respond effectively to changes in direction and priorities preferred.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills preferred.
• Flexibility and dedication to team environment preferred.
• Knowledge of Zoll telemetry, MUSE systems, EKG system and cart, cardiac event recorders, and holter monitors preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and hospital information system preferred
