  • Communicate underwriting results, carrier requirements, benefit plan details, and implementation steps to brokers and agency partners.
  • Support broker conversations, presentations, and client-facing interactions.
  • Coordinate and process new group case installations.
  • Provide ongoing service and problem resolution for in-force accounts, including more complex service-related issues.
  • Serve as a reliable day-to-day resource to broker partners by delivering prompt, accurate, and solutions-oriented support.
  • Help maintain a high standard of professionalism, responsiveness, and execution across the service lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Ability to manage multiple cases, priorities, and deadlines without sacrificing accuracy or follow-through.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain benefit and carrier information clearly and professionally.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills
  • Proficiency in preparing proposals, spreadsheets, presentations, and broker/client-ready materials.
  • High attention to detail and comfort working in a technical, deadline-driven environment.
  • A service-oriented, team-first mindset with the ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
  • Respect diverse perspectives, love to learn, listen well, and look for the good in people.
  • Texas Life and Health license or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
  • Preferred but not required:
    • Experience supporting small group and/or mid-market employee benefits business.
