About the Role
Reporting to the Manager, Master Data Management, the Master Data Specialist plays a key role in supporting Sales and Manufacturing sites by maintaining high-quality product master data. This role is critical to ensuring accurate and timely availability of product data for R&D, Operations, and Sales, enabling business continuity and growth. You’ll join a growing global team where your work directly impacts operational efficiency and data integrity across the organization. This position is part of the Global Master Data Management team, located in Poland (or other Hach European site) and will be remote or hybrid, depending on location.
In this role, a typical day will look like:
Create new product master data in PLM/ERP systems within defined SLAs
Extend existing product data across systems and sites
Update and maintain product master data for legacy items
Monitor and manage workflows to ensure timely completion of requests
Support internal stakeholders with product data queries and issue resolution
Review data quality and ensure compliance with global policies and SOPs
Perform data analysis and execute mass data maintenance activities
Support training and communication initiatives for stakeholders
The essential requirements of the job include:
Minimum 2 years of experience in Master Data, Data Management, or related roles
Experience in manufacturing, operations, or product data environments
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Experience with ERP and/or PLM systems (e.g., Oracle, Agile PLM or similar)
Fluent English (German is a plus)
Nice to have:
Experience with Power BI or VBA
Familiarity with product structures (e.g., BOMs, item master data)
