Senior Research Analyst, Property Research & Intelligence

Job Description Summary

This position will reside in the Property Research & Intelligence team and will report to the Sr. Director, Global Property Research & Intelligence. The Sr. Analyst may have QA responsibility over a group of regional markets and is responsible for working across service lines to plan, gather, validate, & interpret datasets from multiple sources. This includes coordinating and executing efforts on gathering local resources, external and internal resources, documenting sources, validating and qualifying data, and/or integrating data into C&W databases.

This roles’ primary responsibilities include the collection, aggregation, & validation of data in a consistent and timely manner across multiple markets. Working closely with the local research teams and market experts across the country and across service lines.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Quarterly Market Data Aggregation-

  • Oversee and direct quarterly data compilation and statistical production Statistics
  • Provide tools and guidance for data compilation
  • Review and approve (directly or via delegate) submitted statistics
  • Ensure consistent capture and Best-in-Class processes
  • Work with internal and external data providers to refine and streamline processes
  • Work with global, regional and local research leaders to enhance consistent and best-of-class methods for data capture and data quality
  • Ensure compliance with all Global, Regional and National research and company initiatives
  • Execute the QC process for all aggregated proprietary data reported from data aggregated from proprietary C&W research databases.
  • Create and execute processes to gather complex datasets across a variety of internal and external sources
  • Manage and may oversee aspects of quarterly production and quality control
  • Ensure compliance with all Regional and National research and company initiatives

Champion, as applicable, the data gathering and validation of Cushman & Wakefield strategic initiatives, both internal and client driven.

May oversee billing and project reports on behalf of the PR&I team’s projects.

May work closely with Sr. Managing Director on managing vendor relationships and budgeting.

Participate, as applicable, in the development of strategies, standards and best practices in the areas of data analysis and data aggregation within Cushman & Wakefield’s big data analytical platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • 3+ years of experience in commercial real estate industry or research-related field
  • Experience in data entry/data management
  • Ability to aggregate, harmonize and rationalize various data sources
  • Advanced MS Office Excel knowledge is required
  • Proficiency with PowerBi is a plus
  • Proficiency with Generative AI (Chat GBT, Claude, etc.) is a plus
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Critical thinking/problem solving: demonstration of good judgement to make appropriate decisions

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $ 80,750.00 - $95,000.00
