About the role
Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Technology Strategy Senior Manager to serve as a trusted advisor to our Defense clients. In this role, you will shape and execute their business transformation agendas through the strategic application of technology.
Responsibilities:
- Understand the client's business strategy and lead the definition of the link between their technology and the overall architecture landscape, including organization, information, and infrastructure & applications.
- Quickly assess the client's IT operating model, including organizational structure, processes, and governance.
- Conduct rigorous analysis to identify the client's key IT strengths and weaknesses, leveraging your deep technology and industry knowledge.
- Coordinate the creation of blueprints, recommendations, and actionable roadmaps for complex and large technology environments. This includes building future-proof architectures using modern technologies like cloud, edge computing, next-gen connectivity, event streaming, and platform architectures.
- Manage the full lifecycle of strategy definition, ensuring the right setup during the process and functioning as a guardian of the architecture to ensure initiatives and roadmap development align with the set guidelines without jeopardizing business objectives.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with designing and operating two or more of the following at a large enterprise (500+ users) and across multiple data centers:
- Service Design to include requirements identification, identification of Courses of Action (CoAs), market evaluation and assessment of technologies and products through a quantitative process, and design and integration into the production environment.
- Microsoft Active Directory and Identity Federation (MS Active Directory Federation, Radiant Logic, Key Cloak, and Ping Identity)
- Single Sign On (SSO) using modern standards (such as SAML, OAuth, and OpenID)
- Federal Enterprise ICAM
- Implementation of federal Zero Trust.
- Defining and implementing metadata in the form of data and user/resource object (i.e. user, device, application, and service account) tagging and labeling
- Enterprise Public Key Infrastructure (such as Microsoft Active Directory Integrated Certificate Authorities) and the supporting multi-tier Certificate Authorities.
- Storage Services (such as SAN, Software Defined Storage, Storage as a Service)
- Networking Services with experience in two or more of the following; eBGP, MPLS, DMVPN, satellite, or performance optimization over high latency paths.
- Designing and operating a highly available virtual hosting environment across multiple data centers in support of an organization’s DR and COOP requirements.
- 3 years of experience with designing, migrating to, and operating services in a public government cloud (i.e. AWS, Azure, Google).
- 3 years of experience with developing services and obtaining ATO through a Federal Risk Management Framework.
- 3 years of experience with enterprise change control where you have led the change from design creation to ATO.
Preferred Qualifications:
- DevSecOps experience
- Mult iCloud (AWS, VMWare) expertise
- Excellent written and verbal communication:
- Effective verbal and non-verbal communication with peers and C-Suite level customer leadership.
- Experience in project and task management using the Agile framework.
- Able to engage with users in a professional manner and present technical concepts plainly to semi-technical customers.
- Ability to work in a matrixed team environment and support multiple different efforts with dynamic shift in focus with changing customer needs.
Clearance:
- Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility clearance required, and the candidate must be willing to obtain a polygraph.
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
