About the Role
As a Junior Consumer Insight Specialist, you will learn how to transform data into actionable insights that help clients identify market opportunities, consumer trends, and purchase journeys at Merkle, a tech company within dentsu, in our Milan office. This is an internship opportunity.
The team delivers research-based insights that inform effective, insight-led campaigns and messaging, and you will contribute to research project implementation, data review, reporting, and storytelling.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the implementation of quantitative and qualitative research projects, including questionnaire finalization and testing
- Assist with providers management, data collection, data cleaning, coding and review, and report drafting
- Extract first relevant insights and help Senior Researchers turn them into stories
- Contribute to all project delivery phases to meet the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers
- Help unlock the power of data, delivering significant improvements in growth, efficiency, and effectiveness for clients
Requirements
- University degree in Communication, Economics, or relevant studies
- Good knowledge of English
- Good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Data interpretation skills
- Storytelling skills
- Demonstrates accuracy and attention to detail in data review, coding, and reporting
- Able to work in a team
- Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Able to consider different perspectives and propose alternative approaches to research and interpretation
- Takes initiative in research tasks and asks thoughtful questions to add clarity
- Approaches tasks and teamwork constructively
We offer a 6-month internship with a monthly compensation of €800. This is a hybrid position.
