This model allows science and small teams of experts to lead the way. We build bridges to groundbreaking advancements in rare disease, and develop life-changing medicines for patients with unmet needs as fast as humanly possible.

Together we define white space, push boundaries, and empower people to solve problems. If you're someone who defies convention, join us and work alongside some of the most respected minds in the industry. Together, we'll ask "why not?" and help reengineer the future of biopharma. At BridgeBio, we value curiosity and experimentation—including the ethical & thoughtful use of AI to improve clarity, speed, and quality of work.

What You'll Do

The Associate Director, IT Medical Affairs Lead, will shape and deliver the technology and data strategy that supports BridgeBio’s affiliate-based global Medical Affairs teams. The ideal candidate combines strategic vision with hands-on expertise in Medical Affairs applications, analytics, and AI innovation. Success requires a collaborative mindset and the ability to align technology initiatives across diverse therapeutic areas and affiliates.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the Medical Affairs IT roadmap, ensuring alignment with IT, Medical Affairs, and Commercial strategies
  • Serve as the system owner for core Medical Affairs platforms including Veeva Medical CRM, Medical Information, Grants, Publications, and Insights Management
  • Manage vendor relationships, release schedules, and system lifecycle activities
  • Define and implement Medical Affairs data governance and analytics frameworks, ensuring compliance with privacy, GxP, and data protection standards
  • Partner with Medical Affairs and IT teams to deliver dashboards and insights that support evidence generation and field medical effectiveness
  • Identify, manage, deliver AI and automation opportunities to enhance literature summarization, insight capture, and operational workflows for medical affairs teams
  • Lead digital adoption, user training, and change management to help Medical Affairs teams effectively use new tools and capabilities

Where You'll Work

This is a hybrid role based in BridgeBio’s San Francisco office, with an in-office collaboration cadence of 3 days per week. This is a compelling opportunity to join a high-impact, dynamic team as an individual contributor, shaping the IT roadmap and business strategy that help accelerate life-changing treatments for patients.
