DESCRIPTION:
Join our Research & Development team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Scientist I.
Work within the System Verification Department, with a primary responsibility for providing high quality verification work for new and modified products. The post holder will be responsible for the practical running of project work, completing investigations and experiments that have been directly assigned to them.
The post holder will also be responsible for carrying out any required improvement projects and corrections to allow introduction of new or modified products.
To ensure that allocated equipment is maintained, and all processes are followed using Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and any in-process testing is carried out in accordance with the required protocols. To support other areas of the business when required, to help ensure the delivery of products to the required Quality, Right First Time, On Time and in full.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's Degree in a scientific discipline or relevant equivalent experience
• Hands-on EXENT experience is desirable
• Strong understanding of GMP, GLP and quality systems
• Demonstrated ability to execute analytical methods following SOPs and regulatory guidelines
• Advanced problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot analytical issues
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and laboratory software systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Physical requirements include extended periods of standing/sitting
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management capabilities
