Job Description

At Qualtrics, we create software the world’s best brands use to deliver exceptional frontline experiences, build high-performing teams, and design products people love. But we are more than a platform—we are the creators and stewards of the Experience Management category serving over 18K clients globally. Building a category takes grit, determination, and a disdain for convention—but most of all it requires close-knit, high-functioning teams with an unwavering dedication to serving our customers.

When you join one of our teams, you’ll be part of a nimble group that’s empowered to set aggressive goals and move fast to achieve them. Strategic risks are encouraged and complex problems are solved together, by passing the mic and iterating until the best solution comes to light. You won’t have to look to find growth opportunities—ready or not, they’ll find you. From retail to government to healthcare, we’re on a mission to bring humanity, connection, and empathy back to business. Join over 5,000 people across the globe who think that’s work worth doing.

Senior Director of Product Management - Customer Experience

Why We Have This Role

Organizations are increasingly interacting with their employees in digital ways. From corporate chats, to email, to corporate social media, to mobile apps, to AI assistants, organizations are now serving their employees digitally at orders of magnitude higher than norms three to five years ago.

The Product team at Qualtrics is looking for an experienced and senior product leader to lead our Customer Experience Product team and drive innovations that help organizations hear every customer’s voice, fix every broken experience, and increase customer loyalty and spend.

You will lead an organization, working closely with our customers to develop innovations that help them take their experience management game to the next level. You’ll design solutions for CMOs, CX/VoC, and research leaders at the world’s largest and most successful organizations. You’ll work directly with Executives and Directors in our customers’ organizations to solve their problems in ways that are unique, differentiated, and most importantly impactful. You’ll work cross functionally at Qualtrics to take these innovations from concept to market to maturity as defined by engaged usage of the products with high product satisfaction. You’ll report directly to our Chief Product Experience Officer and you’ll develop the future PM leadership at Qualtrics.

How You’ll Find Success

  • Own product strategy with a CEO mindset, building and maintaining business cases including market opportunity models, user personas, and use cases while managing the entire product development lifecycle
  • Drive go-to-market planning and execution across all departments, assist with messaging and positioning, and collaborate with Sales to identify best practices, pain points, and training needs
  • Participate in customer-facing activities including demos, roadmap alignment meetings, marketing events, sales opportunities, and business development with potential partners
  • Build processes for collecting customer feedback, developing requirements, and maintaining the product roadmap while orchestrating successful outcomes across Sciences, Engineering, Design, Program Management, Delivery, Support, Customer Success, and Product Marketing teams
  • Act as a self-starter who continuously updates understanding of customer pain points, personas, goals, and product expectations while staying current with industry publications
  • Demonstrate competitive intelligence by knowing strengths and weaknesses relative to competitors, positioning offerings toward optimal market niches, and delivering compelling presentations at all levels including executive audiences
  • Bring 12+ years of product management experience with innovation aptitude, strong understanding of technology applications, and excellent management skills in problem solving, decision making, planning, and delegation

How You’ll Grow

  • Lead a high-impact product portfolio that shapes the direction of the company.
  • Develop and refine executive leadership skills by managing a talented team of product managers.
  • Gain deeper insights into market trends and customer needs, influencing product strategy.
  • Enhance strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities through data-driven initiatives.
