For our logistics site in Welkenraedt, Belgium, we are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Manager Logistics & Warehousing.
Your Responsibilities
As Manager Logistics & Warehousing, you will be responsible for the smooth, efficient, and safe operation of all warehouse activities. Your key responsibilities include:
- Managing inbound and outbound goods flows
- Leading and developing warehouse staff
- Implementing and maintaining warehouse management systems
- Monitoring and optimizing inventory levels
- Overseeing picking, packing, and shipping operations
- Handling and resolving customer or internal claims
- Ensuring proper storage, handling, and organization of goods
- Analyzing and improving processes to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Preparing regular operational reports and KPIs
- Conducting stock counts and inventory audits
- Identifying cost-saving opportunities and potential investments
Your Profile
We are looking for individuals who bring strong ownership, independence, communication skills, flexibility, and a customer-focused mindset. You should also bring:
- Completed vocational training or degree in logistics, supply chain, business administration, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in warehouse management; leadership experience is a strong advantage
- Solid knowledge of warehouse management systems (preferably SAP S/4HANA) and MS Office
- Very good command of Dutch, French and English (required)
- A hands-on mentality and the ability to thrive in a fast-growing, dynamic environment
