Per Diem Pharmacy Technician – Pharmacy – Rotating

Advocate for patient safety as part of an empowered team by adhering to stringent standards. Assist with the training of students, interns, and new technicians. This is a per diem rotating shift at Westchester Hospital located in Bronxville, NY.

Required Criteria

High School Diploma/GED with the ability to read and write English.
Prior experience in a hospital pharmacy or health care environment setting
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcare Association (NHA)
Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) with the New York State Education Department
Must be self-started with ability to think independently in solving routine customer service issues.
Must be able to distinguish patient names and other written words on a pharmacy medication label.
Must be able to perform all duties required of a pharmacy technician.
