About the role
SUMMARY:
Under direct supervision, the Human Resources Administrator provides administrative support to the Human Resources Department. This role enters employee data into Workday, answers calls and emails, and refers calls to appropriate departments.
JOB DUTIES
- Requests, monitors, and communicates the progress of Background Checks and Drug Screens to managers.
- Answers frequently asked questions from employees and refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level human resources managers.
- Compiles and emails a report of all employee changes to key stakeholders at the end of each day.
- Enters unemployment benefit data and provides documents in Equifax/CaseBuilder.
- Assists new employees with the Onboarding process within Workday
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Typically requires a high school diploma or GED and zero (0) to five (5) years of related experience or an equivalent combination.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
- Ability to accurately enter data.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skill required, especially Acrobat Adobe, Excel, Word, & Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail and follow up skills.
- High ethical standards and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Ability to communicate verbally and written with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to multitask and time management skills required.
- Experience with Workday and Kronos is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills.
