About the role

As an IDEXX Courier you will play a key role in supporting our Laboratory in Rydalmere by ensuring the timely collection and delivery of pathology samples across Sydney. We have 2 x part-time opportunities available: one covering evening shifts, plus Saturdays and the other covering day shifts, plus Saturdays. Our Transportation team is responsible for safely moving critical specimens between clinics and the laboratory, helping deliver essential healthcare services to the community.

In this role:

  • You will collect pathology specimens from clinics and healthcare providers on designated routes

  • You’ll ensure all samples are delivered to the laboratory accurately and within required timeframes

  • When working with customers, you’ll provide professional and friendly service at every collection point

  • Your day-to-day will include managing multi-stop routes.

  • You’ll maintain your vehicle in a clean and safe condition

  • You’ll record and track collection details accurately using basic systems

  • You’ll work independently while following scheduled routes, traffic laws, and team guidance

What you need to succeed:

  • Full, valid driver’s licence

  • Confidence driving across Sydney metro areas

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple stops efficiently

  • Basic computer skills

  • Part-time hours (15 – 20 hours / week) to maintain a work/life balance

  • Shift options available: (3 - 4 shifts per week)

    • Evening shifts + Saturdays: approx. 7:00pm – 12:30am & 10am - 3.30pm on Saturdays

    • Day shifts + Saturdays: approx. 9:00am – 3:30pm & 10am - 3.30pm on Saturdays

  • Shift lengths of approx. 5 hours
