We are seeking a skilled and experienced Scraper Operator (specifically in 631 Scraper and 627 Scraper) to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate scrapers and other heavy equipment to move and grade materials.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow project plans and specifications to achieve desired results.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure project timelines and goals are met.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications:
- Valid heavy equipment operator’s license.
- Proven experience operating scrapers and other heavy machinery.
- Strong understanding of construction and excavation processes.
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safety and attention to detail.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials.
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and operating machinery.
- Exposure to outdoor weather conditions and construction site hazards.
