About the role
TCS – Cost of Quality Coordinator
As part of TCS - Customer Experience Quality (CEQ) section based in Amsterdam. This role will initial be based in Amsterdam for 12months on a STA contract for training and then located in India after the first 12months.
The Cost of Quality team is responsible for Warranty Expense Reporting to all internal and external business functions, Operational Budget, Recoveries, Model & Road Side Assistance Cost-per-Unit, Goodwill Budget and Cost of Quality related KPIs.
Core Responsibilities
- Management & KPI Reporting
Prepare and deliver timely reports on:- Contractual Warranty Costs vs. targets and commitments.
- Model Cost-Per-Unit trends and impact of concerns.
- ILN Warranty Ratios monitoring and follow-up.
- Forecasting & Analysis
- Provide reforecasts within deadlines and support Business Plan Submissions
- Develop and optimize forecasting tools for Cost-per-Unit, Warranty, Goodwill, and Roadside Assistance.
- Create ad hoc reports and analyses to support informed management decisions.
- Follow-up the pending claims in Global Warranty System assuring recovery from manufactures.
- Project Leadership & Benchmarking
- Lead/support projects related to Cost of Quality and claim cost processes when required.
- Benchmark Cost-Per-Unit and ILN Warranty Ratios across AMIO regions to identify best practices.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Economics, or Business Management.
- Experienced in the automotive industry, with exposure to both technical aspects and financial processes (advantageous).
- Proven ability to build strong working relationships across all organizational levels and functions.
- Excellent communication skills; recognized for establishing credibility as a trusted business partner.
- Advanced analytical capabilities with expertise in validating outputs, presenting conclusions, and justifying recommendations to management.
- Outstanding proficiency in MS Access, Tableau, Excel, PowerPoint, and programming skills in VBA (Visual Basic Applications).
- Strong command of English (written and verbal); additional language proficiency is an advantage.
