Our SMB Revenue Strategy & Operations (RSO) team is seeking a highly analytical and  strategic individual to drive impact across our SMB sales team. This role holds a global remit with a crucial and deep focus on scaling our SMB business. The SMB business works through self-serve initiatives and third party vendors to support our advertisers in driving business outcomes through advertising on the Reddit Platform.  You will be pivotal in driving sales rigor, providing business insights, and propelling the sales strategy and operational effectiveness across our SMB Sales team. This role will lead diverse, high-impact projects focused on go-to-market (GTM) motions and operational excellence for a rapidly growing part of the business.

Location: Strong preference for this role to be based out of our New York office 2-3 days a week

Responsibilities: This role requires a leader who can operate seamlessly between deep analytics that are then translated to operational and or strategic improvements for our Sales Team. 

  • Reporting & Forecasting: Develop rigorous reporting and forecasting analyses on weekly/ monthly/ quarterly basis to track sales pipeline progress, meeting and pitch velocity, productivity, and growth in existing clients and acquisitions.  Working with our central analytics partners to scale best practices and standardize across our lines of business.  
  • Sales Insights & Action Plans:  Understand and deep dive into the business to understand opportunities for growth and diagnose key issues.  Partner with sales, marketing, product or other RSO leads to translate insights into action plans.  
  • Strategic Collaboration: Partner with other RSO leads, Sales, Marketing, Product, Central Operations, and other cross-functional stakeholders on projects aimed at increasing sales productivity, operational efficiency, and revenue incrementality.
  • Process Optimization: Build automation and scalability, optimize operational processes, and ensure seamless integration with systems, tools, and technology.
  • Planning: Lead and / or support in  the annual and quarterly sales planning processes, including the development of business plans, operating models, customer segmentation, and resource allocation. Leading project management efforts for seamless implementation across cross functional teams. 
  • Go-to-Market Strategies: Develop and recommend strategies for SMB in close collaboration with senior sales and cross-functional leaders.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in sales operations, business operations, consulting, investment banking, or similar roles, 8-12 years of post-grad experience.
  • Experience in the advertising industry and vendor led sales organizations is preferred.
  • Data Proficiency: Skilled in researching and analyzing complex and large data sets.  Master in Excel and proficient in SQL.
