What You'll Be Doing
- Operate underground mining equipment to extract materials safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment and work areas.
- Follow production plans to meet daily output and quality targets.
- Adhere to all safety procedures, regulations, and site protocols.
- Communicate effectively with team members to support coordinated operations.
What Are We Looking For
- Ability to operate heavy equipment in a safety-focused, team-oriented environment.
- Strong awareness of workplace safety standards and hazard recognition.
- Mechanical aptitude with the capability to troubleshoot and resolve basic issues.
- Reliability, accountability, and consistent attendance.
- Effective communication skills and willingness to learn new processes and technologies.
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level
