ServiceNow Security Engineer
The Opportunity:
We have an outstanding career opportunity for a ServiceNow Security Engineer within our Security Engineering team. This individual will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining ServiceNow integrations, connectors, and workflows that support security-aligned processes and tools. The role focuses on enabling automation and orchestration across the Global Security program to strengthen the company’s strategic positioning with regards to Information Security. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to ensure successful delivery of secure, scalable, and efficient ServiceNow solutions.
What you’ll do…
- Implement automation and orchestration within ServiceNow to streamline security operations and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with security and compliance teams to translate business requirements into technical ServiceNow solutions.
- Work closely with business, development, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of
- ServiceNow with enterprise systems and security tools.
- Participate in vendor management and coordinate delivery of ServiceNow-related services.
- Ensure transparency and visibility of ServiceNow workflows and integrations through metrics, reporting, and dashboards.
- Stay current with ServiceNow platform capabilities and security best practices to continuously improve processes.
Who you are?
- 3+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and administration, including building custom workflows and integrations.
- Strong understanding of security processes and tools (e.g., vulnerability scanners, SIEM, EDR, ticketing systems).
- Experience with ServiceNow IntegrationHub, APIs, and scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript). · Familiarity with one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation and data manipulation.
- Track record of resolving technical challenges and delivering scalable solutions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong influencing skills to achieve alignment across teams.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or System Administrator certification a plus.
- Security certifications (CISM, CISSP, GIAC) a plus.
