Position Summary
The WashU Med Neurofibromatosis (NF) Center is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to assist the NF Center Coordinator during weekend therapy events for individuals with a diagnosis of Neurofibromatosis Type 1 (NF1). Events are primarily held once a month on Saturdays, in addition to a summer camp for one week in the month of August. Some additional preparation will be needed for each event.The Physical Therapist will work closely with the NF Center Coordinator, who is also a licensed Occupational Therapist.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Attend all therapy events, which may include weekends.
- Complete any at home preparation leading up to each event.
- Provide reasonable modifications to all therapy activities.
- Assist individuals during events with the least amount of support needed.
- Collaborate with occupational therapist on program development.
- Brainstorm new event ideas.

Required Qualifications:
- Current licensure to practice as a physical therapist in the State of Missouri and/or Illinois, depending on location.
- Basic Life Support Certification, Level C, or obtains certification within one month of employment.
- Online BLS certifications, those without a skills assessment component are not sufficient to meet the BLS requirements.
