• This role is in support of Cencora's wholesale distribution services in Europe operating through our Alliance Healthcare business.        
• Job Title: Transport Porter                           
• Location: Chessington
• Working Pattern : 08:00-16:30
• Monday to Friday/40 hours
• Summary of Role:  To accurately sort & distribute orders received into transport into correct van routes and areas on the night shift. 
• Key Responsibilities: Accurately checking orders / totes from drop sheets paying special attention to route, according to procedures. All missing orders / totes must be recorded and notified to a Line Manager. Ensure orders / totes are allocated to pallet / route cage. Prioritise orders / totes by route departure time.Loading vehicles as per instructions, ensuring that all bins, boxes, bags are loaded in the vehicle in a safe manner.Ensuring all loads are secure, following the correct load security processes. Ensuring that all pallets and cages are stored correctly and bins, boxes, bags are stacked in a safe manner.Ensure all Health & Safety regulations are adhered to.Any other tasks required by management.Ensuring empty totes are sorted correctly.Safe transfer of orders to loading bays.Re-pick of missing orders where relevant.​

Skills Knowledge and Experience - Flexible and adaptable approach to work.Ability to work under pressure Ability to communicate well with others.Good visual accuracy, numeracy and communication skills.Committed to working in a hazard-free, world class health and safety environment.Any previous experience working in a warehouse environment would be highly desirable and any experience driving a Counterbalance forklift truck.​
