About the role

Job Description:

The Manufacturing Lead will report to the Manufacturing Senior Lead. It is a hybrid role responsible for designing and building new capabilities based on SAP S/4 HANA and the SAP Business Technology Platform to enable manufacturing processes, but also with additional responsibility to provide template support to deployment teams across multiple geographies, based on predefined deployment plan. The split between the two aspects of the role will change over time according to the needs of the Digital Core program.


What are we looking for?
4+ years’ experience in SAP for process manufacturing

Experience specifying SAP ERP design and prior deployment experience.

Experience in delivering integration between SAP and other external systems using modern integration technology concepts such as API (SOAP, ODATAV2, ODATAV4, REST), RAP BOs, SAP ASAPIO, SAP Integration middleware such as SAP BTP, MCP Servers (such as SOLACE, AIS) and it’s interaction with external data sources, systems.

  • Knowledge of manufacturing, ideally food, pharma or similar industry sectors

  • Good communication skills, especially in English

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


What will be your key responsibilities?
Work with Process Owners & Regional deployment teams to define requirements for manufacturing solutions at Royal Canin and Pet Nutrition factories globally.

  • Collaborate with Factory Engineering & IT leads responsible for existing Edge systems to align scope and ensure an effective end-to-end solution.

  • Analyze where Petcare factories can use the same solutions as other segments, and where not.

  • Analyze where Royal Canin & Pet Nutrition factories can use the same solutions, and where not

  • Drive the System integrator to deliver the design of core -SAP S/4 - and edge as specified

  • Ensure designs increase interoperability between Royal Canin and Pet Nutrition factories and where possible have a shared standard solution across segments (PC & Snacking).

  • Manage P2F template deployment documentation and support deployment teams by providing template knowledge either directly, or via third party resources.
