About the role
Essential Functions (Principal Duties and Job Responsibilities):
- Responsible for budget maintenance and monthly/quarterly billings of assigned accounts
- Reviews and processes requisitions, travel expense reports, and requests for disbursements; checking against budget availability
- Prepares federal financial status reports or state Policy 07 repost
- Posts restricted line item budgets, journal entries, and other financial entries into the Workday system
- Performs administrative and other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Problem resolution skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of office procedures and proficiency in various PC based word processing and spreadsheet applications to include Microsoft Word, Excel.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Good organization and time management skills.
- Ability to understand and work with basic accounting reports such as expense reports and budgets.
- Ability to provide good customer service and work effectively on team projects
Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of two (2) years’ work-related experience is preferred
