About the role
The Department seeks a dedicated teacher-scholar with evidence of or the potential for teaching excellence. The position has a six-course teaching load for the academic year (3-3). Successful candidates will teach Lower-Division courses in colonial and modern Latin American and modern world history, as well as Upper-Division courses in their field of expertise.
This is a non-tenure track faculty appointment for the academic year of August 2026-May 2027. Continuation beyond the initial term, if any, will be determined based on institutional needs and applicable review processes. A PhD in Latin American History or relevant field is required; however, applicants who are ABD and demonstrate substantial teaching experience will be considered.
