We are looking for an Project Engineer to join our team.
This role focuses on one-off integrations, bespoke customer solutions, internal engineering projects, and short-notice disruptive work that must be delivered quickly and safely without impacting core product delivery.
The Project Engineer will work closely with Systems Engineering, Hardware, RF, Embedded Software, Applications Software, and Production teams. This role will complement the day to day core product development by absorbing and containing non-standard work and providing surge capacity at critical phases.
Typical projects include integration of RF receivers into payloads for manned and unmanned platforms (e.g. drones and vehicles), internal tooling or platform adaptations, and customer-specific deployments. The role requires strong hands-on engineering capability, sound system judgement, and effective customer interaction.
Job Description
End-to-End Project Delivery: Lead bespoke internal and customer projects from initial scoping and feasibility through to integration, testing, and final handover.
RF System Integration: Direct the integration of RF payloads into manned and unmanned platforms (drones/vehicles), ensuring systems meet performance and regulatory standards.
Power Distribution Design: Design and optimize robust power solutions for RF and DF equipment, verifying performance and safety under representative operating conditions.
Agile Engineering Support: Provide "surge" assistance to Systems Pods during peak phases, including system bring-up, debugging, and unblocking prototype builds.
Stakeholder Engagement: Capture customer requirements directly, provide technical consultation, and manage expectations through site visits, surveys, and demonstrations.
Compliance & Qualification: Oversee environmental and EMC assessment activities, troubleshooting EMI issues in accordance with industry standards (e.g., MIL-STD, DEF-STAN).
Technical Documentation: Produce fit-for-purpose records, including integration notes and test results, to ensure seamless project handover without excessive overhead.
Technical Expertise: Utilize a degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field) and proficiency in prototyping, RF test equipment, and CAD software (SolidWorks).
Operational Readiness: Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments while maintaining (or being eligible for) SC Clearance.
Basic Requirements
- Experience: Solid previous experiences within similar roles.
- Technical Acumen: A solid understanding of RF technology, spectrum management, or related technical fields is highly preferred.
- Market Expertise: Deep knowledge of the Polish public sector, defense procurement processes, and regional market dynamics.
- Languages: Native-level fluency in Polish and professional business fluency in English.
