Automation Engineer Advisor

Integrated Pharmacy Medical team is looking for a Automation Engineer Advisor.
The Automation Engineer Senior Advisor will play a pivotal role in the test automation framework development for the cloud-based Web, ETL applications by understanding overall architecture.
As a senior advisor, you will work in a high performance, high frequency, enterprise technology environment.
This role will work with all levels of business, ensuring the deliverables align with business requirements and testing strategy with measurable results and will coordinate the work of project teams along multiple workstreams like data partners, integrated system, external vendors, etc

Responsibilities:

Coordinates IPM Scrum and Shared Services Teams along multiple workstreams like data partners, integrated system, external vendors, etc.
Design and Develop automation framework and solutions to meet speed to market goal ensuring quality
Escalates risk and issues timeously to enable effective planning and communication to stakeholders
Embraces the mindset of fearlessly engaging in manual hands-on and exploratory testing whenever circumstances demand it
Responsible for identifying, documenting, and effectively resolving defects through meticulous reporting and tracking
Adheres to the organization's Quality Engineering best practices while helping to drive changes to our testing practices where necessary
Design, develop robust automation frameworks with AI capabilities and improve the time to market by improving the testing process.
Define test process including required test activities, deliverables and test schedule.
Understand how changes impact work upstream and downstream including various back end and front-end architectural modules
Closely interact with both onsite and offshore team members. The onsite and offshore interactions include scrum team members (Scrum masters, developers, Product Owners and QA at onsite and offshore)
Actively participate in all phases of testing (In sprint functional testing, integration testing and regression)
Responsible for E2E orchestration of test cases for parallel test execution in CICD pipeline

Qualifications

11 - 13 years of experience in Test Automation development, Devops and at least 2 years of experience with any of the AI automation capabilities such as GitHub Copilot, claude, cursor or similar tools
Experience in designing automation solutions using Robot, Python Behave or any similar framework
Experience in designing test automation solutions for the ETL, API and Web based applications and automate end to end workflow for testing.
Expertise in applying agile methodologies and principles to software testing, ensuring efficient and effective testing practices throughout the development lifecycle
Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing test management tools such as Jira and Zephyr to effectively plan, track, and manage testing activities, ensuring seamless collaboration, and streamlined workflows
A strong foundation and practical experience in programming languages are essential, with a particular emphasis on Python which are highly preferred
Experience in Git based source control tools like GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket
Strong experience with SQL and database/backend testing
Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman and SoapUI
Exposure to QA automation AI platforms like ACCELQ and/or LaMDA test

Education and Training Required:

Bachelor or Equivalent degree in Computer Science or Information Technology

Primary Skills:

Healthcare, Selenium with Python and Cucumber BDD and/or Python Behav, Robot Framework, JIRA, Test Tool Management

Healthcare, Testing & Agile experience

Cloud Technologies Like AWS

Additional Skills:

Contribute to the vision for the ongoing evolution of automation approach, including any tool or framework changes to ensure ongoing improvement.
Identify and implement improvements within the automation process, streamlining the delivery of automation on an ongoing basis to provide faster feedback to developers
Develop deep expertise in the application(s) assigned for automation and apply that knowledge in developing more effective automation solutions and troubleshooting issues that arise.
Responsible for E2E Integration testing for a given application(s) by effectively coordinating with multiple service providers and navigating across the organization
