Key responsibilities

Are you ready to take responsibility and support your team in the warehouse environment? In this position, you will be responsible not only for organizing daily operations in goods receiving and warehouse management, but also for providing technical and disciplinary leadership to your employees. You create clear structures, foster good collaboration, and contribute your ideas to continuously improve processes.

 

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Controlling and organizing warehouse processes while considering available resources, and supporting the optimization of warehouse capacity and inventory

• Supporting and guiding your team in daily operations, including checking incoming goods, recording them in the SAP system, and preparing inventory lists

• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and actively contributing to smooth warehouse operations

• Fostering the development of your employees through clear communication, practical training, and a respectful working environment

• Organizing and managing shipping through planning and coordinating all national and international shipping activities

• Stakeholder management and cooperation with freight companies

Qualifications for the role

• You have a commercial apprenticeship or comparable qualification with a focus on logistics

• You are proficient in SAP, particularly MM-SAP and WM-SAP modules, and bring solid experience in the logistics field

• You have at least several years of professional experience as a logistics specialist or logistics professional

• You ideally have already gained management experience and have a good sense for processes and team dynamics

• You work in a structured, solution-oriented manner and maintain an overview even during busy periods

• You communicate fluently in German and English
