About the role
*This role requires a hybrid schedule in either our Charlotte, Seattle, or Denver offices; Tuesday-Thursday in-office, Monday and Friday remote.
THE POSITION
The General Manager, Home Loans at LendingTree is responsible for leading the Home Loans vertical, with full ownership of business performance and P&L. This role is part of a broader team of General Managers supporting LendingTree’s Home and Consumer businesses.
This person will operate in a highly matrixed environment, partnering closely with Marketing, Product, Technology, Analytics, Sales, and Finance to drive growth. The GM sets the strategic direction for the business, aligns cross-functional teams, and ensures a strong consumer-first approach across all initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own and drive the business strategy and full P&L for the Home Loans vertical
- Set priorities and execute against a clear roadmap of high-impact initiatives
- Partner cross-functionally to develop product roadmaps, business cases, and go-to-market strategies
- Leverage data to inform decisions, with a strong grasp of unit economics, lender performance, and consumer trends
- Balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution and accountability for results
- Manage near-term performance while building toward long-term growth goals
- Clearly communicate business performance, priorities, and future roadmap to stakeholders
- Serve as a subject matter expert in the home lending space; build external relationships to inform strategy and drive growth
- Identify opportunities to accelerate growth, make ROI-driven trade-offs, and take calculated risks
- Champion a consumer-first mindset and continuously improve the customer experience
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong background in financial services; home lending experience preferred
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving key business metrics
- Experience leading in a matrixed environment and influencing cross-functional teams
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships
- Highly analytical, with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights
- Solid understanding of industry trends, competitive landscape, and key market drivers
- 5+ years of relevant experience; MBA preferred
COMPENSATION
The base range for this position is $200,000-240,000, however, base pay offered may vary depending on internal factors, job-related knowledge, and candidate experience.
INCENTIVE COMPENSATION
