Highlights:
Summary: The Accountant II shall be responsible to prepare and issue monthly financial statements. This individual is responsible for the monthly journal entries and analytical review of general ledger accounts to include the P&L and Balance Sheet. The Accountant will assist with federal, state, and local reporting requirements for all Baptist Health companies which includes preparation of corporate, partnership, 5500, 990, and 990-T returns. Additionally, the Accountant will assist with year end audit to include analysis, audit report, and footnotes. The Accountant will also assist with the audits of the benefit plans of Baptist Health. This individual will assist with the training of staff accountants. The Accountant may be tasked to complete other special projects as assigned by the CFO, Director of Finance, or Controller.
