Your Job
This Packaging Specialist position is responsible for the labeling, pouring, and packaging engineered resins manufactured for photochemistry applications. A detailed breakdown of the different responsibilities associated with this position is defined below. 2nd shift (2pm-10:30pm) is available for this position.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all Spectra health and safety and local, state, and federal regulatory requirements.
- Responsible for applying product and compliance labels onto cartridges
- Responsible for pouring engineered resins from mixing tanks into cartridges
- Responsible for bagging and boxing engineered resins into individual bags and cartons
- Responsible for taping cartons, inserting into master box, and palletizing
- Responsible to follow and maintain all the documentation associated with quality control
- Suggest procedural and process improvements to meet or exceed the plant’s productivity and quality goals.
- Provide firsthand support to Fulfillment on any manufacturing process issues
- Maintain effective communication channels (oral and written) to all levels at plant

Work Environment and Physical Demands:
- Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery noise, temperature changes, and particulate materials.
- Ability to stand, walk, and work on the production floor for extended periods.
Education and Training
- High School diploma or equivalent
