This position reports to:
Production Supervisor__
Paint Room Operator
Your Responsibilities:
Operate manual or semi-automatic painting application including grit blasting machines
Dilute paint as required
Inspect each piece for cosmetic flaws
Fill in production logs and reports.
Manual material handling
Meet established standard quality and productivity expectations
Follow job Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs) and 5S procedures.
Maintain accurate quality and production records
Embrace teamwork
Proper use of PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toed boots, and others as applicable
All other duties, as assigned
Your Background:
High School diploma or equivalent
Prior manufacturing experience preferred
Ability to lift up to 40lbs
Ability to perform repetitive operations and pull/push functions
Ability to stand for 8 hours daily
Comfortable bending, twisting, reaching
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
Basic proficiency in computer systems and applications.
While hourly pay rate is determined by things such as the successful applicant’s qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay at $19.75 including $1.50 shift differential. 3rd shift hours are 11:30 PM – 8:00 AM Sunday - Thursday.
