Project & Development Services

What this job involves:

  • Track record in establishing and leading a QS team 

  • Develop new business opportunities

  • Responsible for team’s quality project delivery, within specified timelines and budget

  • Develop and nurture existing client relationships

  • Provide expert quantity surveying consultancy services for high-value projects, from inception to completion

  • Strong experience in various sectors such as data centre, residential, education, manufacturing, commercial, industrial, and healthcare

  • Skilled in Cost Advisory work, working with inter-team collaboration

  • Lead and mentor a team of Quantity Surveyors

  • Conversant in estimating, pre-contract cost control, pre-contract documentation, tendering procedures, post contract procedures, standards, and service levels expected, etc.

  • Deputize for and support the Director in the management and development of the office.

  • Interview and recommend the necessary permanent and contract resources as directed.

  • Resource planning to ensure the efficient utilization of staff.

  • Drive staff suggestions and feedback on current practices for continuous improvement

  • Brief, direct, and supervise all QS to ensure client’s requirements are met.

  • Ensure staff are appropriately trained and mentored.

  • Ensure proper progress of projects and standards are maintained.

  • Thrive under pressure and deal effectively with tight deadlines and high expectations

  • Any other duties as assigned

Oversight of the QS teams responsibilities and support where required to ensure deliverables are met to the standards expected

We employ talent from a wide range of backgrounds, though typically you should have:

  • A degree or diploma in a relevant field, and/or at ten years’ experience in a similar Cost Consultancy position.

  • RICS / AAIQS / SISV qualifications preferred

  • Have good experience in the pre-construction as well as the construction phase projects

  • Relevant experience in a QS Consultancy firm will be advantageous

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technologically savvy

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

  • Good analytical and strategic thinking skills

  • Attention to detail

  • You should have a great sense of urgency when it comes to solving problems, improving products or services, finding new markets, and implementing new strategies

  • A great communicator with superb organisational skills

  • A structured and organised approach with an eye for detail is also crucial, as is being tech-savvy.

  • As a digital leader, we use a range of technology platforms to deliver our projects. A willingness and aptitude to work in a digitized manner will be advantageous.

  • You are resilient and can deal effectively with competing priorities and tight deadlines.

  • You should know how to negotiate to generate risk-assessed solutions, and how to handle ambiguities.  

  • A great communicator with superb organisational skills

  • 견적, 계약 전 원가 관리, 계약 전 문서화, 입찰 절차, 계약 후 절차, 기준 및 예상 서비스 수준 등에 정통

  • 디렉터를 대행하고 사무소의 관리 및 개발 지원

  • 지시에 따라 필요한 정규직 및 계약직 인력 면접 및 추천

  • 효율적인 직원 활용을 위한 인력 계획 수립

  • 지속적인 개선을 위한 현행 관행에 대한 직원 제안 및 피드백 추진

  • 고객의 요구사항을 충족할 수 있도록 모든 QS에 대한 브리핑, 지시 및 감독

  • 직원이 적절하게 교육 및 멘토링받도록 보장

  • 프로젝트의 적절한 진행 및 기준 유지 보장

  • 압박 속에서도 성과를 내고 촉박한 마감일과 높은 기대치를 효과적으로 처리

  • 기타 지시받은 업무

  • 예상되는 기준을 충족하도록 QS 팀의 책임 감독 및 필요 시 지원

지원 자격:

다양한 배경의 인재를 채용하며, 일반적으로 다음 자격을 갖추어야 합니다:

  • 관련 분야 학위 또는 디플로마 보유 및/또는 유사한 원가 컨설팅 직무에서 최소 10년 이상의 경력

  • RICS / AAIQS / SISV 자격 우대

  • 시공 전 단계 및 시공 단계 프로젝트에 대한 풍부한 경험 보유

  • QS 컨설팅 회사에서의 관련 경력 우대

  • Microsoft Office 능숙 및 기술에 능통

  • 강력한 커뮤니케이션 및 협상 능력

  • 우수한 분석 및 전략적 사고 능력

  • 세부사항에 대한 주의력

  • 문제 해결, 제품 또는 서비스 개선, 새로운 시장 발굴, 새로운 전략 실행 시 뛰어난 긴박감 보유
