Your New Role...
As an Statutory Accounting Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality financial reporting in a complex international environment. You will combine deep technical accounting expertise with people leadership, process ownership, and a continuous improvement mindset to ensure accurate reporting, strong controls, and effective stakeholder partnership across the business.

Your Role Accountabilities...
Own and manage assigned accounting processes, applying IFRS and/or US GAAP and relevant local GAAP, including preparation and review of statutory financial statements.
Review complex and non‑standard accounting transactions, provide technical guidance to stakeholders, and coordinate accounting research to ensure correct recognition in line with regulations and company policies.
Act as a hands‑on people leader, managing a team of 1–3 Senior Accountants / Managers, including day‑to‑day activities, deliverables, issue resolution, holiday planning, and career development.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including automation and optimization of daily and month‑end accounting processes and workflows.
Manage internal and external audit activities, including SOX testing, maintenance and enhancement of internal controls, and financial compliance processes.
Prepare and/or review periodic management reports, balance sheet flux analyses, SEC schedules, reconciliations, and related metrics, as well as ad‑hoc reporting.
Lead cross‑functional meetings, document and track action items, propose solutions, and escalate issues appropriately.
Qualifications & Experience...
Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 8 years of accounting and/or auditing experience in an international environment.
Strong understanding of IFRS and/or US GAAP, with practical end‑to‑end knowledge of the reporting impact of accounting transactions.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office, with strong Excel skills.
Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to clearly articulate financial analysis, highlight risks and opportunities, and propose improvements.
High‑integrity team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across the organization.
Knowledge of one or more local GAAPs (Italian, German, French, Polish, Spanish, or Nordic countries).
Experience working with enterprise information systems, particularly SAP.
Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or PIBR) completed or in progress.
