Job Responsibilities:
- To organize and stock all material requirements for production operations utilizing First In/First Out.
- Ensure compliance with SWI for delivery routes.
- Ensures all material/stock is; replenished, set up, and in their proper place to prevent and/or eliminate downtime.
- Perform material handling duties: move, load/unload parts either by manual or tugger operation; carry out and record incoming/outgoing inspection parts, tags, racks, etc.; operate inventory scanner; cycle material based on FIFO standards
- Inspect/Accept parts per work instruction/ process book/ procedures to ensure correct quantity, quality, and racking.
- Recommend proposals for improving production, processes, systems productivity, and work environment.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Follows and supports LMV Automotive Systems and Magna’s operating principles, including:
- Magna Employee Charter – Operating under its principles by treating all employees equally, fairly with dignity and respect.
- Open Door Policy – Solves issues with two-way, open, and friendly communication.
- Performs other duties as assigned
