As a Pension Plan Configuration and Verification Specialist, you will be responsible for the quality of pension calculations. You will identify critical test scenarios, execute tests using our pension calculation software, verify results, and ensure follow-up on the resolution of detected anomalies.At TELUS Health, this role will allow you to develop unparalleled expertise in pension plan configuration and calculation verification across the Canadian and American markets. Through our multiple implementation projects with new clients across North America, you will gain an in-depth understanding of an impressive range of calculation types. What You'll Do
- Collaborate with functional leaders and business analysts to clearly define test scope and criteria
- Analyze technical documents and configuration specifications to identify critical test scenarios
- Execute calculation tests, verify results, and document detected anomalies
- Maintain and enhance the test suite based on new features and system modifications
- Participate in calculation review sessions and team meetings to validate configuration accuracy
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (development, actuarial, business) to resolve identified issues
- Propose improvements to verification and testing processes
What You Bring
- University degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or finance
- 3+ years of relevant experience in defined benefit pension plan administration
- Experience in calculation verification and/or implementation of pension plan calculation systems
- Proficiency with pension calculation software
- Fluency in French and English (written and oral)
- Advanced Excel skills
- VBA programming knowledge (asset)
- Excellent organizational skills and priority management
- Ability to solve complex problems
- Strong attention to detail and professional rigor
- Ability to work effectively both in teams and independently
