Coordinates and manages the manufacturing activities of several areas, ensuring to reach the manufacturing volume, and quality standards within the approved operation budget. Supervises the production tasks, quality and manufacturing engineering.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Observe and enforce compliance with all established safety rules and regulations
  • Monitor Plant Intelligence Center to manage and prioritize activity and attend meetings as required.
  • Ensure adherence to WPS Operational Excellence Manual and all associated policies and processes
  • Communicate with management real time to avoid gaps and surprises
  • Identify and evaluate the risks associated with quality and delivery activities and take appropriate action to control risks
  • Report performance against metrics, goals, and objectives daily, weekly and monthly
  • Manage the plant production department and work within budget.
  • Responsible for minimizing losses on the production floor
  • Promote and uphold continuous improvement programs
  • Develop proactive strategies to increase business profits, customer satisfaction and operational effectiveness
  • Ensure achievement of established targets, through oversight and definition of improvement actions as needed
  • Lead and manage manufacturing function and operation teams and processes
  • Improve manufacturing technology and competence
  • Execute operational excellence strategy and quality standards
  • Drive operational excellence through target setting, monitoring & benchmarking for innovative processes
  • Manage procurement activities, spending and savings. Ensure supplier delivery performance and quality; Manage material storage, availability, inventory and logistics
  • Implement health, safety and business compliance standards and regulations within the units
  • Ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed and directed
  • Build an effective, capable and high performing organization
  • Promote employee training objectives and ensure compliance with all WilbertU training requirements
  • Identify high potential employees and actively develop team members to build bench strength and plan for succession
  • Manage resources to meet or exceed established targets for efficiency, quality, delivery and cost.

Pay Range:

76,000.00 - 114,000.00
