Description

The Data Center Operations (DCO) group is looking for a Field Service Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for deploying and maintaining servers and supporting fixtures and infrastructure in our remote locations globally.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience with DC operational tasks, including rack sizing, equipment installation and decommissioning. Ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop, push, pull, reach and lift as required on a continuous basis with items that can weigh up to 34 kg. Hands-on experience with various copper and fiber cabling structures. Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 60% of your work schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

Capable of independent problem-solving and self-motivated. Experience in a data center environment. Strong communicator with excellent oral and written skills to a variety of audiences. Ability to build and grow relationships and collaborate with other teams. Prior experience in DC operations, supply chain, and DC construction. Experience with DCIM tools. Possess a global perspective with the ability to understand and work effectively in a culturally diverse organisation. Ability to manage key stakeholder interests while at the same time managing conflicting priorities and business interests.
