Registered Veterinary Technician, RVT
Location: Vancouver, BC
Compensation: $26.00 to $35.00 per hour, depending on experience
Yaletown Animal Hospital is welcoming a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our dynamic and growing practice!
The ideal candidate:
Contributes positively to the team culture.
Must be a Registered Animal Health Technician or equivalent, preferably with at least 1 year of clinical experience, but will consider a new grad with an exceptional work ethic.
A strong knowledge of anesthesia, dentistry, surgery support, patient care, critical care, and other veterinary technician skills is a must.
You will be joining a team of 13 trained technical staff and 6 doctors to provide a very high standard of veterinary care to a wide variety of cats and dogs.
The shifts are 10 hours, 4 days a week, based on the clinic's needs--which include one weekend shift.
Schedules are posted at a minimum of 2 weeks and at a maximum of 2 months in advance, giving you the flexibility to swap shifts with other technicians.
