PURPOSE OF POSITION: To supervise the Front Desk staff while fostering a safe, positive, and enjoyable work environment that supports teamwork, accountability, and professional growth. This role ensures guest, owner, and employee satisfaction by providing a helpful, informative, and secure atmosphere for guests, members, and employees. The position is also responsible for achieving budgeted profitability by adhering to established service and safety standards, promoting a culture of well-being and respect, and exercising fiscal responsibility and sound management practices.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise front desk staff
- Assist with training front desk staff
- Assist with scheduling guest services staff
- Assist with refining checklists, SOPs, and guidelines
- Check guests and owners in and out using Deer Valley's warm welcome guidelines
- Give guests and owners directions, information, and instructions
- Concierge duties, including making reservations for restaurants and activities
- Assist guests with any reasonable requests
- Assist with guest and owner luggage
- Settle guest balances upon departure
- Handle cash and credit card transactions
- Cross train with the housekeeping team and assist them as needed
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 2 years of experience as a front desk agent or in a supervisory role
- Must be organized with attention to detail
- Must be able to work with a variety of personalities
- Ability to supervise staff
- Excellent leadership qualities
- Knowledge of the Park City area
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Ability to communicate clearly (spoken and written communication)
- Working knowledge of computers and computer operating systems
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Self-motivated
- Must be able to work nights (during the ski season), weekends, and holidays
- Willingness to cross train and work with the housekeeping team
DATES OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Flex Year Round - may have periods of layoff or reduced hours
PAY RATE
- $22.00 per hour
