About the role

As a Solutions Engineer in Budapest, you will work closely with Sales and Account Management teams to drive success for Taboola’s worldwide advertisers. You will be responsible for onboarding new Advertisers, monitoring delivery and performance, resolving technical issues, and providing in-depth technical recommendations, best practices and optimization strategies across a book of business.
The Solutions Engineer possesses great communication and presentation skills, and ability to understand all technical aspects of our client’s goal and objectives. The Solutions Engineer should be a fast learner and able to ramp up on the changing needs of the platform. Continuous learning and adaptability to change are critical parts of the job.
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
- Fluency in English is a must!
- B.tech/ B.E/ Bsc. IT graduates with at least 3 years of Experience as technical solutions or support roles, preferably in the ad tech industry with hands on experience.
- Hand experience with SQL and API calls and tools. Knowledge with one of following Google Analytics, JavaScript, CSS/HTML, and Mobile SDKs - an advantage
- Strong customer service skills; ability to translate technical investigations and analysis into actions for customers
- Experience strategically assessing and achieving client success via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling, and competitive selling
- Knowledge of business processes, workflows, and ability to provide structured formal documentation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and demonstrated ability to build effective relationships
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders, understand urgency and prioritize appropriately
- Ability to understand business objectives and partner with them to achieve key results
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience in tracking implementation methods (Shopify, Wordpress, DCM, etc.) - an advantage
- Experience in product implementation, specially experience with pixel implementation on customers’ websites S2S and cookies - an advantage
- Familiarity with Google Tag Manager as well as mobile measurement partners (Appsflyer, Adjust, Kochava, Branch, etc.) - an advantage
- Familiarity with attribution models, testing frameworks, and privacy regulations - an advantage
- Good understanding of digital media industry, ad serving technologies, platforms and tools - an advantage
How you’ll make an impact:
As a Solutions Engineer, you’ll bring value by:
- Owning responsibility for the End2End technical onboarding process , Taboola pixel implementation , conversion tracking , performance and health analysis.
- Building an in-depth knowledge of how Taboola advertising products work and can be used to help meet a wide range of marketing objectives.
- Owning and implementing executional tasks associated with setup and delivery, and providing consultation to the business and customer on best practices.
- Perform technical troubleshooting to identify and proactively solve onboarding related issues.
- Performing detailed End2End campaign performance analysis and providing optimization recommendations to increase revenue.
- Proactively overseeing and managing campaign level performance, advising on delivery and KPI attainment.
- Surfacing verticalized best practices, insights, trends and benchmarks to aid performance.
- Design methodologies and tools to improve the customer service and the team’s troubleshooting ability
- Collaborate with the business teams and work directly with external customers’ product and technical teams to successfully integrate with Taboola’s products
