About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Performance Test Engineer to join our global technology team. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and executing performance, load, stress, and scalability tests for web and API-based applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our systems meet performance benchmarks and deliver high-quality user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute performance, load, stress, and scalability tests for web and API-based applications

• Identify performance bottlenecks, root causes, and recommend optimizations across application, database, and infrastructure layers

• Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product teams to ensure systems meet performance benchmarks

• Create performance test scripts, scenarios, and data models that simulate real-world usage patterns

• Collect, analyze, and report performance metrics and KPIs

• Contribute to continuous performance testing within CI/CD pipelines

• All other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in performance and automation testing

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience

• Proficiency with Apache JMeter (Must Have)

• Experience with LoadRunner, TruClient, VuGen

• Experience with distributed load testing and cloud-based tools (e.g., AWS EC2, Linux)

• Experience with New Relic or similar performance monitoring tools

• Ability to script performance test scripts using BlazeMeter

• Ability to interpret test results and create Root Cause Analyses (RCAs)

• Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and tools

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and agile development practices
