About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Performance Test Engineer to join our global technology team. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and executing performance, load, stress, and scalability tests for web and API-based applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our systems meet performance benchmarks and deliver high-quality user experiences.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute performance, load, stress, and scalability tests for web and API-based applications
Identify performance bottlenecks, root causes, and recommend optimizations across application, database, and infrastructure layers
Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product teams to ensure systems meet performance benchmarks
Create performance test scripts, scenarios, and data models that simulate real-world usage patterns
Collect, analyze, and report performance metrics and KPIs
Contribute to continuous performance testing within CI/CD pipelines
All other duties as assigned
Requirements
3+ years of experience in performance and automation testing
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
Proficiency with Apache JMeter (Must Have)
Experience with LoadRunner, TruClient, VuGen
Experience with distributed load testing and cloud-based tools (e.g., AWS EC2, Linux)
Experience with New Relic or similar performance monitoring tools
Ability to script performance test scripts using BlazeMeter
Ability to interpret test results and create Root Cause Analyses (RCAs)
Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and tools
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and agile development practices
