Job Description

The Role 

Accredited Labs is seeking a highly engaged Regional Quality Manager to support and strengthen our ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Quality Management System across a network of accredited laboratories. This role provides quality oversight for 7–10 laboratory locations, ensuring compliance, driving consistency, and elevating technical quality across the organization. 

This is a remote position with a preference for candidates located in the Eastern half of the United States. Travel is required approximately 50% of the time to support onsite audits, assessments, training, and quality initiatives. 

The ideal candidate brings deep ISO/IEC 17025 expertise, strong technical competence, and the ability to operate independently in a fast paced, multisite environment. 

 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities 

Quality Management & Compliance 

  • Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and internal quality requirements 
  • Prepare for and participate in internal audits and external accreditation assessments (A2LA, ANAB, etc.) 
  • Serve as a primary point of contact with accrediting bodies 
  • Oversee corrective actions, nonconformances, and customer complaints in partnership with local branch quality representatives 
  • Provide quality oversight for 7–10 laboratory locations 

 

Standardization & Process Improvement 

  • Drive consistency in procedures, documentation, and execution across all sites 
  • Support integration of newly acquired laboratories into the Accredited Labs QMS 
  • Identify and implement process improvements aligned with accreditation requirements 
  • Contribute to standardization efforts, including use of IndySoft calibration software 

 

Technical Oversight 

  • Lead technical oversight with a strong focus on technical competence 
  • Review and evaluate measurement uncertainty budgets for accuracy and consistency 
  • Support method validation, verification, and technical problem solving 
  • Support training and competency development across branches 

 

Qualifications 

Required 

  • Strong knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 
  • Experience working with accrediting bodies such as A2LA or ANAB 
  • 5+ years of experience in a commercial accredited calibration laboratory environment 
  • Experience supporting or leading internal audits and external assessments 
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, multisite environment 

 

Nice to Have 

  • Advanced expertise in measurement uncertainty (electrical strongly preferred) 
  • Experience with IndySoft calibration management software 
  • Multidiscipline calibration experience 
  • Experience supporting a growing or multisite organization
