About this Position

The incumbent functions as a processor for commission related inquiries for our Non-Regulated products. The incumbent will respond to email and telephone inquiries from both the Field and Management. In addition, the role is responsible for additional manual processes, including accounting, validation, and preparation of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. This will include special requests from other departments within the Company such as the Office of General Council, Marketing and Field Supervision and interacting with various groups within and outside of Field Compensation, including 3rd part vendors. The incumbent will also function as backup for all other functions within the department. They must be able to communicate with the agents and members of management verbally and in writing. Incumbent must also be able to enforce policy when the request is outside of normal guidelines, while maintaining a positive relationship with the agent.


The incumbent will interact with various levels of peer groups within and outside the Field Compensation area as well as interact with departmental managers and executive management. The incumbent must also analyze research and find viable solutions to problems and implement solutions in a timely manner and perform any other duties assigned.

Salary range 40K - 45K USD ANNUAL

Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • The day-to-day activities will vary depending on a variety of factors.
  • Respond to email and phone calls.
  • Manually process accounting and validations
  • Research requests from the Field and Management
  • Back up all other functions in the department
  • Cross train on other functions within Field Compensation
  • All other functions as required.

Minimum Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Effective analytical/critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to organize and present facts in a clear and concise manner in both speech and correspondence.
  • Ability to multi-task and the ability to be flexible and to work long hours if required.
  • Proven ability to occasionally work under pressure and communicate professionally with irate customers.
  • Proven as being a dependable individual that is dependable and can “step up” as needed.

Preferred requirements:

  • Preferred knowledge of company products and agency compensation systems
